“The effects of Sequestration will be felt in most US ports through the elimination of overtime by CBP which may cause delays in the docking/boarding of vessels.  Restrictions differ from port to port. Individual Moran offices will provide updates via Daily emails along with updating Masters via pre arrival messages.  Should you have any questions do not hesitate to contact the local Moran office”

This will be followed by strong high pressure building in from the Great Lakes from Saturday into early next week. A warm front approaches from the south Tuesday and Tuesday night.


SW winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt. Seas 2 to 3 ft. Slight chance of showers late.


W winds 10 to 15 kt with gusts up to 20 kt, becoming NW after midnight. Seas 2 to 3 ft.
