Synopsis for the Long Island Waters and New York Harbor... A cold front moves east of the area today, followed by high pressure that will build into Tuesday. High pressure then passes east Tuesday night through Wednesday night. A cold front slowly approaches Thursday and Thursday night, then moves across the area on Friday. High pressure then builds over the area through the upcoming weekend.
