Synopsis for the Long Island Waters and New York Harbor... High pressure over the area drifts off the northeast coast this afternoon and tonight. A cold front will approach the area waters Saturday before slowly passing through Saturday night into early Sunday. A broad area of high pressure will then build in for the beginning of next week.
