Synopsis for the Long Island Waters and New York Harbor... A cold front approaching from the north today will stall in the vicinity of Long Island tonight. The front will then lift back north as a warm front Tuesday, followed by a cold frontal passage Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Weak high pressure builds behind it. Another cold front will move through Thursday night with high pressure building in from the north into Saturday. $$
